ANDA STRATEGIC PLANNING 2015/16
The Agency had a successful Strategic Planning Session to review its Business and refine its Corporate Plan 2015 -2020. This session was held on the 14-15 January 2016 in Matatiele at Royal Courtyard Hotel. The Stakeholders included Political Leadership and Administration of the Parent Municipality, Local Municipalities and Government Departments within the jurisdiction of Alfred Nzo Region, Provincial Treasury, Auditor General, DEDEA, National Department Public Works, Community Radio, and Service Providers.
Some of the key points directing the Strategy:
- ANDA to Diversify: Also look into other sectors beyond Agriculture (Infrastructure, ICT, SMME, Tourism, Arts and Culture)
- ANDA to align structure to respond to Mandate
- ANDA to mobilise from external funding sources
- ANDA to be Self Sustaining institution.
- ANDA Projects to be Self Sustaining as well.
- ANDA to focus on High Impact Projects – Mega Projects
- Institutional alignment and better coordination (IGR)
- Programmes to be aligned and rationalised
